Newest 'SeaTalk' announcements available

Have you ever heard of a beach plum? Each spring, these native plants decorate Delaware’s coastline with delicate white clusters of blooms. Learn about the beach plum as well as many other ocean- and coastal-related topics by downloading the latest SeaTalk announcements from the University of Delaware and the Delaware Sea Grant College Program.

With two thirty-second and two sixty-second SeaTalk announcements available for each month, the newest versions cover a wide range of topics related to the ocean and coast, including information about Coast Day, UD’s annual celebration of the sea held Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes.

Be sure to check out the SeaTalk announcements online, where you can download them as audio recordings, transcripts, or podcasts. You also can subscribe to SeaTalk online through iTunes or our RSS feed. The SeaTalk announcements for September and October 2009 are now available, and the November and December announcements will be available beginning November 2.
