Public perceptions of coastal and near-shore wind power turbines and transmission (R/SCD-3)

This project builds on earlier research on barriers to deploying large-scale offshore wind projects in the United States. Researchers will survey Delaware and New Jersey residents regarding a series of case studies in both states. Understanding beliefs and attitudes that drive individuals to support or oppose offshore wind development will help to shed light on society’s vision of new energy technology.
