Discover the many ways that the ocean touches your life at the 33rd annual Coast Day! UD’s celebration of the sea will take place Sunday, October 4th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes. Tour ships in the harbor, meet sea critters at touch tanks, and hear scientists share what they are learning about the ocean and our relationship with it. Coast Day also features a crab cake cook-off, children’s activities, lectures, research demonstrations, and much more. Admission and parking are free.
