This is SeaTalk: Ocean News from the University of Delaware.

Coast Day is a fun way to discover more about our marine world, and this year’s event will focus on a wide range of exciting discoveries – on land, by air, and at sea! Come out to see how researchers are using cutting-edge technologies, from robots to drones, to expand our scientific knowledge.

Coast Day is on Sunday, October 1st at the University of Delaware’s Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes. Marine scientists open their labs and share information about their work on many intriguing subjects, from wind energy to underwater robotics to sharks. The festival also features ship tours, delicious seafood, and live demonstrations.
