As part of his community development work, Delaware Sea Grant’s Ed Lewandowski, sustainable coastal communities specialist, helped the town of Leipsic launch its Waterfront Oyster Festival last year. It succeeded beyond organizers’ hopes and made the decision to turn it into an annual event an easy one.
